We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and creative Occupational Therapist who can think outside the box. The post holder will be responsible for providing Occupational Therapy Assessment and treatment, working with Adolescents and young Adults with eating disorders.
The roles offer some flexible remote working on occassion.
We are also looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist.
You will help with treatment as well as discharge planning for young patients.
Suitable candidates will have experience with young people with mental health conditions. You will work with our world-leading multidisciplinary eating disorders teams.
You will have a commitment to delivering high quality care. Decision making, communication and organisational skills are also important. Your warmth towards your patients will support them to feel positive about their lives
You will assist them develop their skills for daily living, continuing with hobbies that they enjoy. Along with Activity Co-ordinators your leadership will help patients use activity to explore their personal recovery journey. You need to be psychologically strong, and empathic. You will have the full support of your manager, team and regular supportive supervision.
